Wondering how much Itto is even injured after such fall

Continuing from the last chapter, the Yagyu men and Retsudō himself come after Itto. Itto handles several of them before facing Retsudō. For being an old man, Retsudō is quite the accomplished fighter. He cut the string that was tied around Diagoro and Itto, therefore causing Diagoro to fall off of Itto and go over the side of the cliff. Itto backed up too far as well and also went over, which means their fight will continue on at another time. I was beginning to worry a little that their fight was too soon, seeing as this chapter is a little over 1/3 of the way into the manga.

Again we see the toughness that Diagoro possesses. To fall off a cliff and survive is miraculous. It helps that he was found by a father and son that gave him aid and watched over him. It's a shame the Kurokuwa ninjas found him and killed the father and son as they tried to protect Diagoro. For the first time, he sheds tears for someone else's behalf. I wonder what happened to Itto and where he's at since he also fell down the cliff. I hope he isn't injured.

That man was truly honourable and a great father. So sad how his and his sons life ended.
