Jeezus! Itto is a demon indeed. The Yagyuu clan is getting desperate, but their leader is still unwilling to send his men to kill Itto due to the promise he made to leave him alone if he stayed out of Edo. The leader, Retsudo doesn't want to tarnish his clans name, but he doesn't know what to do, so one of his men recommends a certain policy that the police use to arrest vagrants and send them to hard labor. They plan to do this to Itto, but Itto is too much for even a mob to stop. They attempt to arrest him, but he takes someone hostage and demands to see their boss. Then he's realizes that this event was a ploy by the Yagyuu too capture him, so he decides to challenge their authority and fight back. He's able to scare many men with his mounted gun and then kill a few Yagyuu men and talk his way out of the situation. His words and fighting scared them and they lost their will to challenge him any further. Then he walks right out of the front gate and is gone. What a fucking boss. To be able to get out of a situation like that where even the law is trying to use their power and authority over him. He's so knowledgeable and knows how to fight back with not only his sword, but his words too. That was a brilliant chapter.
