Dragon Ball Chapter 496 Discussion

Not a fan of Gohan's "transformation" here, even though Old Kaioshin says its not a transformation. Gohan's eyes change into the normal super saiyan eyes, and it just makes him looks way worse. And it's going to stick, forever ruining his appearance.



And I haven't mentioned it before, but Gohan has taken the usual role of Goku here, showing up to save everyone. It was pretty apparent as soon as his training/unlocking started. It's something Toriyama has used pretty much every arc and it isn't more interesting just cause it's Gohan this time. And him wearing Goku's clothes just makes him not feel like himself. Gohan already has his own style and that's what he should be wearing.
