Dragon Ball Chapter 425 Discussion

Pretty mid chapter, I do love Gohan being a lame idiot tho, it just works. Also I hope everyone learns that Hercules is a fraud, he pisses me off

Great start for Videl's character here. I like how she figures out multiple things about Gohan straight away, like his connection with Goku. Gohan is also fun as the goofy superhero pulling poses.



I really wish this part of the story lasted for longer though. I'm a big fan of the more slice of life-aspects we've gotten now, and Gohan is a great main character. But oh well, now we have a tournament.

                        The tournament should be interesting and Videl is Hercules daughter how can no one not know her name?

This is not how I remember it going down in the anime, and I do miss some of the filler cut-out but I mean the actual contents here didn't register with me. I do like how effortlessly Videl tricked Gohan into revealing his identity, I mean I did assume Gohan was smarter than that but the fact that he thinks his costume and poses are cool should've tipped me off that he wasn't. I always liked the Videl/Gohan relationship, I'm enjoying seeing their interactions.
