And with barely any effort at all, Frieze deflects Vegeta's all-out ki blast attack, shattering his will to fight, even forcing tears from his eyes. This is a pretty great moment, it's a pretty strong character moment for Vegeta, after all his pride, planning, efforts, and belief in his ability to become a Super Saiyan, he is utterly outclassed by the very being he holds the most resentment for. Further more, it's just great for building up the threat of Frieza, Vegeta is incapable of doing anything, and everyone else is frozen in place. The chapter doesn't end on a downer though, with Goku all healed up things are bound to change once more.
