Dragon Ball Chapter 112 Discussion

Anyway, this seems like a true ending point to Dragon Ball, despite knowing this era of the series continues on for quite a bit. With the search for the Dragon Balls all set and done, and even Goku revisiting Pilaf & crew to show kind of bookend the story and highlight his insane amount of growth in the time between. I've enjoyed the ride so far but there's not much more I can really say on it that I haven't already. And I'm looking forward to what's coming next, I understand several consider it the strongest material in Dragon Ball.

                        Oh so the next journey is about to begin.. Nice advice was given by Master Roushi once again.

and so the 2nd dragon ball adventure ended, was great ride, RR arc was great, the bubba was little strange but had it's moments. now to the first DB timeskip!

now it is time for the first, of many, timeskips in Dragonball

This arc was long it wasn't as interesting as the tenkaichi boudokai arc but stil has  a pretty solid ending ,meeting his gradpa

And with this we end the second search for the Dragon balls and all-in-all I previous this arcs over the first, going back and forth with the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. More happened in this saga and the last had more weak fights. Yet the Tournament had better high moments, so again back and forth.

Ohhh, is near to begin a new Tourney!!! 3 Years to training!!!

Well that ends the weird ass witch arc onto the next arc then.

wow I didn't know that was possible to catch a Dragon Ball while they are flying away.



So a new tournament will begin. But three years it's a long time, I wonder how strong Goku will become.

So let's talk arcs. Some people in the Dragon Ball community has this really weird idea about arcs in Dragon Ball imo, which I think is mainly the fault of the anime. Or "sagas" as they are known. Well it's all wrong, and even if it's official it's wrong. The whole Uranai Baba and Pilaf part is the same arc as the Red Ribbon Army story. Goku started out to retrieve his grandpa's dragon ball and he then gets a second objective of reviving Bora, and the arc ends with him meeting his grandpa and Bora comes back to life.



Not sure if the arc could still be called the Red Ribbon Army arc or if it would be better with something like the second search for the dragon balls. Either way, this arc really is one of the best of the series. Goku is at his most likeable and the tone is perfectly balanced between action and comedy.

Three years time skip! I wonder who is gonna be taller, Goku or Krillin?
