No I didn't, with the attention i put into looking at the art it was kind of hard to notice that. But honestly I'm quite happy to not have guessed it out, more of a shock than "oh, not surprising".
Also, before you ask "why are you reading manga if you don't pay attention to the art" It's because i like the soul eater story enough to read the manga.
