Gintama Chapter 704 Discussion

So well nobody ended up with any of the girls but kondou remain married with bubbles poor guy

This ending reflects very much what gintama is, I am really satisfied and also sad.(the part with tama is heartbreaking)

This manga gave me so much and when I think it's over my heart hurts.

At first I thought that this series was just a comic manga and that it had nothing to tell, how wrong I was, so much that now is one of my favorite manga.

How lucky I was back in 2012 to start the series out of pure curiosity thanks to an advertisement on a Bleach's chapter.



There is still the anime so i'm looking foward to that but thanks Gorilla-sensei for this awesome series and Yorozuya forever!!!



Edit:I was hoping for a Gintoki×Tsukuyo moment but i think that was too much to ask, still good regardless.

Gintama made me laugh a lot. But these last 2 chapters ... I cried like a lost child. At the last page i smiled while sobbing. I smiled, because of that 'We are Yorozuya'.

Really, i cried a lot. I knew that Shinsuke will be regenerated. But when i saw his baby form i got really emotional.

And thank god the gorilla didn't made Kamui bald .. I would cried more if he did it.

But well I was really happy when i saw my favorite ahoge boy.

...

Ugh it really ended.

I can't embrace the reality ..

Because Gintama is my favourite. its anime is my favourite, its manga is my favourite, its characters is my favourite. I love everything about Gintama. Hard for me ..

Gorilla-sensei, thank you for this amazing manga. We laugh a lot, we cried a lot.

We'll miss it al lot ..

Awesome last chapter full with emotional scenes and sham ending and hasegawa trolling at the end. Still felt that zura, elizabeth and madao deserved more appearances.

Fans Gintama be like : Now what ?

What a supreme finale! It was such an amazing experience! The greatest manga of all time in my book! What a way to end it! Cannot really explain how I am feeling right now. A big gaping hole left in me. I dunno if there will be anything ever to fill this void.

Jump (or any other magazine for the matter) will never be able to produce another long running shounen this good. Masterpiece in every way! 10/10.

There are a ton of comedy mangas that would be extremely terrible managing serious arcs if you removed the comedy aspects. Mangas that noone except for episodic comedy fans read and who would have zero appeal to anyone if you removed that as well. So it's rare to have a comedy that brings a good story worth reading too. I mean Gintama was funny and sad altogether. Totally worth it.
