Gintama Chapter 700 Discussion

this was very dramatic chapter... sadaharu will become jesus, isn't it?

Takesugii  takes a hit but heck he is immortal Sadaharu is reborn

Damn, that part where Takasugi's neck got slashed was pretty brutal. The action in this chapter was amazing!! Dynamically choreographed action in this chapter was better than last chapters, explosion-fest. That part when Gin and Takasugi jumped out the window and hung from the ledges to get an attack in, was super cool!



Even though Gintoki saved Takasugi there at the end, Takasugi still seems like a goner. He clearly doesn't have much time left, and idk how I feel about that. Really don't want him to die, or else his moments with Gintoki will be so short-lived ;_;



That moment when Gin says that he can always hear Shinpachi and Kagura, I just can't <3



Seeing Gintoki use both of their weapons was really cool though!



Wasn't really expecting Katsura to be the one to fight Hitsugi, but that's a fight I'll be looking forward too. Hopefully this Oboro 2.0 can finally die for good. And it seems like Sadaharu might be able to return to his normal form soon, with all the focus he's been getting in this chapter. There's still a lot of stuff the next chapter will need to cover, but it's manageable. I don't expect any sort of epilogue or closure for every character. Though, this timeskip portion was one long epilogue anyways, so it's fine. Regardless, this series has been a ride that I'll never experience again, nor will I ever forget.

I'm just waiting for an announcement that Gorilla-sensei is going to continue the manga into the next batch of Jump Giga. The fights aren't over yet. I can't picture a proper conclusion next chapter even if we exclude an epilogue from it.

IT's supposed to be a comedy manga so why im crying.

Honestly, i don't know if i could make it... It's getting really hard not to cry.There's so intensity in this chapter... Omg...

I seriously thought that we might loose Takasugi this time, but, glad that Gintoki had his back.

That shot where Kagura and Shinpachi yelling at Gintoki was so good!! Now that's a hell of reunion.



I believe that the next chapter will be the last (plz tell me I'm wrong). We have to see Katsura vs. Hitsugi next time. And I wish to see Sadaharu back (the last shot gave me some hope, I guess).



How will Gintoki end this once for all? What will he do when he gets to his sensei/archenemy??



I'm counting on you Gintoki/Sorachi.

If Gorilla-sensei wanted to Takatsuki die, he should do it in this chapter. After Takatsuki understood, what is really important to him.



And Gintok's attack, straight in the eye, just like favourite Takatsuki's stroke.





Amount of 50 pages is definitely inadequate.We should expect one or two flashbacks about Shoujo past.

What a chapter! What a chapter!! What a chapter!!!



When Takasugi's throat got sliced I thought he was really a goner but he ended up holding and seems like he will make it. But his power is weakening as well! Gintoki keeps his promise of not letting go of anything that's important to him and saves Takasugi from disappearing by sacrificing himself!



Kagura and Shinpachi arrive in the nick of time too, and I am sure it's not too little too late! Time for Sadaharu to return to his master as well! Go Sadaharu!



I cannot believe we are coming to the final 50 pages of this epic story. Wishful thinking but how I would have loved to see the final 3 chapters of this manga being animated to a full length movie.



I am so ready to read the final chapter yet my heart is not ready for something that I have followed for almost 9 years now! I will never forget the day I first saw an episode of Gintama. April 5th, 2010. Thanks for the memories. T_T
