Now I have a serious doubt, does Gintama really gonna end soon??

Well, I don't think so.. But gotta admit, Sorachi has done good job to prioritize Takasugi in the new chapter, I really liked it. So who will be the LAST BOSS of the manga?? Will it be Utsuro again or maybe Takasugi??

Glad to see Zurump and Shinjaku. :D

Waiting for Gintoki's reaction on Takasugi's past. I'm wondering, will they join hands this time or just like old times??

I'm hoping for the BEST ENDING any manga can ever get!!

And also the anime..

Remember when they say Gintama will end in 2016? I have my doubt now.

It looks like we go to a whole new arc now.

Zura's mustache orz

He is talking seriously, but with him wearing that mustache, I feel like he is joking like always.

Wow, so that's what happened with Takasugi when Utsuro defeated. Is he immortal now?

I don't think Takasugi is an immortal, but he did have some kind of regeneration ability like Oboro. If he's an immortal, he might be able to get his vision back, I guess.

I'm not actually sure, but there's a chance, you know what I mean?!

Lots of exposition in this chapter, thought not that much new information is present.

Probably the most important this in this chapter is how there's a religious cult that worships the power of Altana. With Altana being what the religion is all about, their god-like symbol from their religion is Utsuro.

I guess that clarifies on why there's so many that are looking for Utsuro's heart. Man, Zura and Shijaku at Nobunobu's grave is kinda sad. Also, it's really hard to take Zura seriously with his mustache.

And we also get to see in-depth with what happened with Takasugi on the day Utsuro was defeated. That part where Takasugi was hallucinating and seeing all those Utsuros was kinda creepy. And this chapter basically confirms that Takasugi did use Altana to keep himself alive. But using Oboro's heart like that though, damn! Last panel with Takasugi is probably one of the most intense Gintama expressions I've ever seen XD

5/5

Man, what can I say. That was heartwrenching.

Sorachi is compensating for the lack of Takasugi in massive parts of the manga by making him the key player in the most critical moment. I'm buying the shit out of this. Go and die Takasugi, take the burden off Gintoki's shoulders, and fulfill your mission my man.Sorachi's been pretty keen on following historical events in Gintama lately. Tokugawa Nobunobu was the last shogun, just like how Tokugawa Yoshinobu (character Nobunobu is based off of) was the last shogun. Katsura was responsible for the new government system (based off of the Meiji period's government) and responsible for replacing the shogunate, just like how Katsura Kogorou did the same in real life. Takasugi Shinsaku died of tuberculosis in his late twenties. Takasugi Shinsuke has an "illness" and is in his late twenties....

Well, Takasugi staying alive in this series is quite low :/

Pretty decent I'd say. Ironic though, how these parallelisms have been always there but it still manages to surprise you. I mean, I bet nobody would've expected Zura to turn out as the man he is now lol

They worship Utsuro, crazy people.

Wow, Takasugi got the blood from Oboro!

He can heal his wounds but he isn't immortal. The blood he took was already dried up and it won't last too long in his body. He's in the same situation as Oboro was.

What can I say, this just keeps getting better and better. The manga could not have ended in the last arc and boy does Sorachi get it. Also like people pointed out, real life parallelisms are creeping on more and more, so look forward to Takasugi biting the dust.

5/5, and this arc is a fucking 11/10.
