Gintama Chapter 679 Discussion

Gintama is going full circle now. It's a good thing. Because Gintama is always about parallel of the past and present delivered within the panels.

I almost disappointed when the war ended without Takasugi and Katsura fighting Utsuro. But now i'm glad that Sorachi decided to make a new arc to finish the long history of master and his disciples.

He really outdone himself. There is no single chapter that disappoints me since 669, it's getting better each chapter instead. While 677 is my favorite comedically, 679 is totally outdone it with only page 13.

I hope BNP can execute this new arc better.

This chapter was insane! He remembers kill him now!! (no not really)

Yo, that ending scene between Gintoki and Utsuro just rips me apart.





Honestly, I thought Gintama really would be ended, but I guess I get trolled, considering we get a whole different arc.

(I didn't know we had already gone through part 2, when was it?)I think it's Part 1 the end of the battle of Kabuki(day time), while Part 2 is more of the battle with utsuro and space, and part 3 is the timeskip)

Well I personally felt all that as one entire part, whereas this timeskip truly feels like a part of its own.
