Gintama's art is always good, but that building blowing up looked gorgeous. The Shinsengumi are here!!! I forgot how badass Kondo looks with his new scar and the new uniforms look amazing! Also, great double color page :D

I am very sceptic concerning this chapter. Of course I enjoyed it, Shinsengumi's entrance is very badass and cool. But I don't think it was necessary to bring them back in the story, their departure on the lesson 551 was perfect. If they didn't return and we stay on the conclusion of Fareweel Shinsengumi, I would be very satisfied. I'm kind of "meh", now. For me it was the Yorozuya and Shouyou's disciples's arc, none other one. And I'm not the only one to be of this advice...



But I'm waiting to see how Sorachi will use them in Silver Soul arc, and I hope it will be in good. It's always a pleasure to see them again.

What's crazy is not to have them back. Edo is being destroyed and they don't show up? That doesn't make sense to me. Tbh, I've been patiently waiting for them to help since Gin and company came back to Edo.
