This fight reminds me of Jiraiya and Pain. Oh my goodness. As much as I like Umibouzu, he is going to die here... and I think Kamui will start targeting Utsuro since he will not get to kill his own dad.

Can just Kagura stand up and beat the shit out og Kamui?? Someone has to break that thick skull!! and Again!! Umibozu WINSS! God, i love Umibozu! don't worry, Kagura got out of the pile of rocks, but Umibozu's gonna die probably, Utsuro nearly killed him. Gintoki will smack some sense into Kamui in the next chapters. Can't wait for him to finally redeem himself!

Umibozu is definitely going to die soon. Dude is such a boss.

Poor Kagura was never going to beat Kamui.

So Kamui literally has nothing except his mentality of 'become the strongest'. Makes complete sense. Because he couldn't protect or abandon his family, he's turned to the only thing he had left, so he devoted himself to this. but i don't really get it, how did he make such a conclusion? and what does he want to achieve with his intentions against Umi? it doesn't make sense. Umi tried his best to save his family, but Kamui abandoned it, saying he would protect his family too. Logic, where are you?

Ok I'm not trying to insult you.......but how the hell can't anyone understand his reasoning?? It's so freaking simple.

Kamui has literally nothing left in his mind other than surpassing his father and becoming the strongest. It's like a consolation prize for not being able to abandon or protect his family. So he clings to this mentality.

People are getting confused with the word "surpass" when he's in fact trying to kill him. In yato world that usually means the same thing.

He couldn't save his mom

His family was the "cause" of her demise

His father introduced him to the mentality "get stronger" and mistook its meaning hence twisted mind.

He blames umi for not fully explaining to him what it meant. Which is why he hates him and puts all the blame on him

If there IS one thing I DONT understand from kamui is his behavior towards kagura. I dont know if he hurts her as a gesture of strange affection because she's his baby sister or the fact she looks like their mom. Its safe to say he doesn't HATE her, he sees her as a hindrance. But why lash out at her? i get all that about Kamui's reasoning. But his motivations aren't being justified and that's sad. About Kagura and Kamui's fight, well, it is obvious that he couldn't stand seeing the resemblence of his past (not just mother) in Kagura and seeing that - it really hurt him, but yea, why does Kagura always have to suffer so much? she totally does not deserve that!

Kamui taking down Kagura. Hope she's not out.

Umibouzu letting himself get stabbed & using that opportunity to crush Utsuro's heart.
