Kagura introduction. The anime had the scenes where Gintoki was looking for a JUMP magazine. Too bad the manga doesn't have that. Still great chapter.

A gag shônen with a ridiculously overpowered martial artist girl who likes food? Great, except Arale, no previous similar example comes to my mind

The Shônen Jump reference comes early in, I hope it foresees specific manga references.



I thought I would have to force myself into this, reading revizws about "incredible fights", "intense drama", etc... but I might have found the comedy with references I was looking for, now only a few parodies are missing. (such a shame so much jokes were left unexplained or traded for french jokes/wordplays in the french edition, real books are better -_- )

This chapter was pretty good. Kagura's background was interesting. I'm curious to see how intense she can get in future fights.
