Gintama Chapter 550 Discussion

                        I'm telling you, it's quite early for the chapter to be released. I'll edit this post later or tomorrow. I can't quite grasp what is going on right now. Can anyone tell me what's happening?

EDIT: Now, we reached the conclusion of the arc.

I do honestly think:

1. The string of serious arcs will continue; forget about a breather chapters or arc.

2. The start of a new era(in real history, start of Meiji era) will be sooner rather than later.

I'm scared how things will go from now I feel like it's all ending! D,: Gorilla-sensei have mercy give us something relaxin to ease the pain

I wonder where the author will take the story next because it's been pretty tense for a while now.

Alright things are calming down a little. Glad our heroes are able to catch a break.



After the final salute to Sasaki, there was a timeskip I think, they are in hiding and getting healed. Nobunobu still the Shogun looking pissed as fuck, Hardboiled Detective and his sidekick are back, and bad ass Kondou with a scar is getting closer with Otae.



Apparently the arc is not over yet. Looking forward to the full translation, this is just raws + summary after all.

That salute was great, and the ending of this chapter was touching. Kondo's fot one ugly scar...

Nobume finally doesn't have the eyes of a murderer. Hopefully Otae will understand Kondo a little more.

I just caught up via a hundred chapters in the last 12 hours probably. I am shocked to see how much has happened.. I can't get over this.

Can't wait for the Yorozuya x Shinsengumi x rest of police force x Kaientai x kiheitai x Oniwabanshu x Hyakka x Asaemon x Kabukichou Devas team up...



Now, all of the rebellion forces are fugitives. We won't get a comedy chapter for a while, will we? Sigh.

But looks like the rebellion is slowly building up...there are actually a lot of rebels now and I think the bakufu will fall any moment...I'm curious as to what the tendoushuu is gonna do and that shouyou wannabe too- I mean utsuro.



Maybe a few short comedy arcs to heal my heart??? I'm doubting that gintama can go back to comedy easily tbh

What's going on? I was so upset after reading this chapter, and I'm usually never upset after gintama.



This serious arc is far too long.



I don't see how they're going to go back to being the carefree yoruzuya after this, TBH. It's all so downing.



Why did Otae have to be good to gorilla? That's what making me the saddest I think.
