Tsukasa Nishino (西野つかさ)

Her idol-caliber face, fair hair, and straightforward personality make her very popular at school. With her looks, she attracts literally dozens of admirers but turns down each and every one. Flighty and hot-tempered at the start of the manga, she develops a far more mature attitude after entering Oumi Academy. She works part-time in a French pastry shop. Her dream is to study pastry-making further in France after high school. While she is Manaka's first (and only) official girlfriend, she is forced to break up with him a couple of times. She initiates the first breakup because she can't stand Manaka's apparent lack of interest in their relationship. Towards the end of the manga, she and Manaka get back together, only to break up again to pursue their respective dreams. The two reunite four years later, after her return from France. Associated with the West ("Nishi").

First of all, I ship ManakaxTojou. So this is my first time rambling in forum

Go easy on me senpai. LOL.

In harem genre, indecisive and dense character is a must, but suprisingly Manaka is also spineless one. Also why the girls always need to be the active one in realationship? Yeah I know it’s harem genre, but realisticly speaking, most of the time, male always take the lead initiating realationship. Aya character is SHY, but she didn’t reject Tanaka when something happen, like hugging her or accidental kiss. Usually it could get some slapped, lol. It’s an effort on its own in Aya part since she is shy. Even when Amachi ask Tojou out to swimming pool and meet Manaka, she still choose Manaka more than Amachi.

From half of the story, we know that Manaka likes Tojou too. Even the last 20 chapter, he still strongly likes Tojou. Especially at the last cultural festival. If he could just use his brain a bit more and courage to get close to Tojou. I mean he knows that Aya character is shy, and yet he is also being passive too. Seriously?! You like a girl but you don’t want make an effort for it and hoping a shy girl you like to be active initiating realionship. Again. SERIOUSLYY?!? The annoying part that he is also afraid to be hurt. It could be seen by how shocked and afraid he is when Nishino ask who is the man beside Tojou at cultural festival. I know that no one likes to be hurt but in realationship it’s bound to happen.

Lastly, after Tojou confession, he still choose Nishino based on guilt. I think it’s fine for this part, since he just got back with her. But in real life, that kind of realtionship based on guilt will crumble on its own and hurt each other more. Never go that route. And to be fair, here is Tojou flaw, her timing of confession is very odd, she is giving up so easily, and the irony of fate cause a small misundersand turn into big problem. Without building up any mood, and just go straight to confess. She could just talk a bit about their memory and life goal since she is already determine to confess anyway.

For me it’s a 7.

1 The art is beautiful, especially the girls

2 The story is good

3 There’s some fanservice

4 The twist is good too

5 Likable character

6 Relatable life problem

7 Enjoyable ride

The -3 is for

1st Manaka character

2nd TojouxManaka ship sink

3rd A bit rush at the end

A solid closure. It wrapped nicely and gave a sense of conclusion. Not to mention my ship is safely docked. But still, the journey was painful. It's too dragged, stupid drama and also mainly thanks to Jinpei's indiciveness. Pissed me off. 4/10 meh.

Junpei is your typical shonen male protagonist anyway

Thats full of bullshit, what a bitter way of thinking.

No matter what , he choose Nishino , and i am glade he did.

This manga would be boring and no diffrent then any other haram mangas if he ended up with Aya.

I am glade the author choose a diffrent kind of ending and something no one really predicted will happen and thats why this manga was so good  :)

Nishino <3
