I'm really happy that out of all members, Inoue-sensei chose Rukawa yet again to cheer Sakuragi up and talk some sense into him.
At first, I expected Sakuragi to be confronted by Gori himself (since it was his dream etc.) But this way it was much better!
I found Rukawa's argument that thinking he was the one who decided the entire outcome of the game through that silly mistake is arrogant and doesn't make sense unexpectedly reasonable and realistic. Although he managed to cheer Sakuragi up in his usual provocative manner, there was a new sense of Rukawa acknowledging Sakuragi's talent after the last game even more.
In general, it's good that all members are shown to be affected strongly by this loss and seem to be blaming themselves partly ( yet they all try to draw strength from that experience) - Especially hearing Rukawa confess that he'd also like to be stronger was a really good progression (seeing as he scored that special comeback and gave it his everything until he had to benched and comforted by Anzai sensei)
I will miss Sakuragi's pompadour ~
I'm looking forward to what comes next!
