Yu Yu Hakusho Chapter 51 Discussion

                        Well Heck two months passed fast and the tournament is already starting..

Poor Yuusuke's clothes, they'll never be the same.



I think there will be flashbacks to the training.

Togashi moves this Yu Yu Hakusho at a lightning pace, at least so far. Which is good because I'm eager to get to Chapter Black & read that arc once more. I have very fond memories of the Dark Tournament but that was eons ago back when Dragon Ball Z was still my holy grail of anime. I hope I still enjoy it. Either way, this was a good set-up, not as effective as the anime but the sequence with Toguro & Yusuke still gives off the air of despair that Yusuke felt & just how sizable the gap of strength was.



As for the Rescue Yukina arc, it was boring, dull & was only to introduce some necessary characters, like Toguro & Yukina. My least favorite part of the Spirit Detective Saga. The Rando segments wasn't good either but there was at least ingenuity in fight finishes (being ones of pure luck). After going through it again, I have to say my favorite arc so far has to be the early chapters with Ghost Yusuke. Kinda wish those got adapted into the anime.

I'm surprised that they skipped the training part.
