I remember this duel between Jounouchi and Yugi being pretty wild, so I’m looking forward to reading this. But what I love about this chapter is how Kaiba’s perception of torture has changed.
He’s trying to justify his previous attempts of torture (Death-T) as “nothing like this” but he doesn’t understand that he was still trying to kill Yugi and his friends back then. At this point he doesn’t even consider Death-T as “trying to kill Yugi”. It’s interesting that he sees this Domino Pier duel as unsettling, so really it goes to show that Kaiba has changed since he woke up from his coma. He sees murder as a heinous act, ironically.
