                        Round two begins, But Jonouchi can't find his participant card, so he was given 5 minutes to go search for it. Ofc he can't find it, Bandit Keith stole it after all, but Jonouchi still doesn't know that. Anyway, at the end in the hall, Joey fell to his knees, having last all of his hope ... and then Mai showed up and gave him a valuable gift! Because they are friends, as she said; now Jonouchi is back on his feet and the duel may begin!  



Still the interesting thing about Mai was this bit; despite the strong front she put out at the end of her duel with Yugi, she is a lot weaker than she shows!

     

She also has problems with opening up to others but showed that she consider Jonouchi as a friend in her mind, meaning that she has overcome that fear!  

Joey's match is about to begin, but before that, Bandit Keith is enjoying this little moment of antagonizing him, thinking the match is settled since Joey doesn't have his card needed to duel since Keith stole it. One of Pegasus's henchmen tells Joey he has five minutes to show his card as proof to duel, so he goes to look for it, but it's a lost cause. Almost ready to lose hope, Mai comes to the rescue and gives him her card since she no longer needs it. Despite his surprise, he accepts it and goes back to the dueling stage just in time to Keith's disbelief. And now the duel will begin! Go Joey!
