I love this chapter! Everything from having the characters acknowledge how and why they were like that in the past to Anzu having the spotlight to shine in this game. Thanks to all of this the friendship itself felt really genuine and not just some asspull and nakama power bull. The clifhanger as well was also very effective. A great volume from start to finish all around!
Really awesome character development here for Jonouchi and Honda! They changed a lot compared to the start. Kaiba's plan to separate them backfired miserably. Everything is so much better and heartfelt in the manga than it ever was in the anime, I'm amazed.
