So does that mean that if someone kills and burn the original Tomie , then the other ones will also die . Interesting theory

Kind of looping, but now is making so sense. So Tomie's clones is trying to kill each other all the time.

I think Tomie's is such a masochist, all the time dying and reviving, or so she not remember anything from the other ones!

This manga is creap and awesome at same time.

These Tomies are amusing and interesting.  It's interesting that they all seem themselves the original Tomie, even though it's obvious that both Tomies features in this chapter broke from the original Tomie chain.  And I believe that it's an original Tomie chain since the class cut up the original Tomie into like 40+ pieces.  So the original Tomies formed from that.

There's no doubt that none of the Tomies knew who the original one really is!

So all Tomies are trying to kill each other. That was pretty interesting. I wonder if the originai Tomie is still alive.

What if Tomie is a whole species of self-replicating viruses, funghi or parasites: It can either infect female hosts and transforms them into a Tomie or it procreates by causing human males to become infatuated and chopping a Tomie up - causing them to grow once again. And eliminating other Tomies is at the same time another layer of evolutionary struggle, basically eliminating "less fit" Tomies from the gene pool. Even though the gene pool seems to be completely identical for every Tomie.

And they also seem to nevertheless have some sort of collective consciousness, as Tomies have access to memories from others, possibly without really knowing it?

Definitely fascinating thoughts for me. Wonder if any of these might turn out to be true in some way. And if it does, is Tomie genetically manufactured? Or does it exist naturally for millenia? Or does it even have supernatural origins? I am looking forward to the next chapters.

Ain't that the truth. They've become like  a self replicating cell that despite its sophistication, cannot any longer reason.
