Fighting. Fighting. some more fighting. and a bit more of fighting.

yeah.........that's pretty much what happened in this chapter. sure the art was in its usual top-quality but the questions that needed to be addressed, namely who and what exactly is Susanoo, have taken a backseat for this match between Mitsuomi and newly born Susanoo.

lmao it's like I'm reading this just for the fight scenes and incredible art now because the story is not becoming anymore concise as it continues.

An was that Nagi's mom who saved him?

You're right, it was her.

I really love the art of this manga and some time ago, there were some really amazing fights (like Bunshichi vs Mitsuomi, I really loved that one) and a great story, but actually since a few chapters ago, it got too confusing, I can't follow the manga anymore. At least not properly, it's all... fighting with philosophy and crazy superhuman powers, a giant Baby with 3 eyes , Soichiro fighting god-knows-what and... when does this stop? When did Tenjou Tenge turn into this, it's all too much. The change of flow and the directions the story took in the last chapters does not feel right to me. It doesn't feel like Tenjou Tenge anymore.

The thing I really liked was when Mitsuomi wanted to live, because it reminded me of his old self, before he turned into the bastard from now. Maybe the reason he wanted to die was because he was feeling there's no need and no reason for him to get stronger. He lost his aim with Shin and he gained too much power. Now, there's this crazy "thing" that's so much more stronger than him that he feels, maybe for the first time in years, that he is weaker and needs to train. He is a fighter and here he gets a new opponent he really wants to fight, because this oppenent is stronger than him.

Heh. I love your reasoning. I never thought of it that way.

WAT?

This is exactly what Tenjou Tenge is.

in this current arc, we've had Bunshichi bite the dust (bless his soul), the grudge match between the Takayanagi brothers, death of two prominent Red Feathers, the birth of the "True Warrior" and a bunch of other stuff. more will probably happen in the next few chapters but this is what Tenjou Tenge is: a bombardment of a multitude of events that the plot becomes convoluted and the reader unable to process all that information. xD

as for Mitsuomi, his mission after Shin rendered him a dead-man-walking was to eradicate and rid the world of the Red Feather bloodline. this goal of his narrowed his views and focused on achieving his objective. during this fight though, he seemed to have rid himself of any inhibitions and just savor every moment of his bout before he finally dies.

Mitsuomi is my favourite character. I'm sure he will beat that freak with some help :))

I think Nagi's mother will sacrifice herself  and Masataka will help the final blow. They need  to unite for win against evil.

Oh great seriously needs to take a step back and explain before moving forward to any more fights. Mistuomi finally wanting to live seems odd. Like he's wanted to die throughout the whole series. An was that Nagi's mom who saved him?
