Air Gear Chapter 328 Discussion

I dropped this manga over 10 years ago because of this shit and now I'm finally reading it. I loved the Air Gear anime and the manga up until this point, but what a spit in the face this is.

I don't really mind what Oh! Great is doing since this is expected of him. (And I do support Ikki x Ringo). I do however, still have reservations about Ringo being Ikki's tuner.



I mean, I love Ringo, but... Didn't tuners have to have special skills and all that? If anyone actually has to replace Kururu, I would expect it to be Simca, since she does have tuner skills? I guess she is quite fragile and probably unable to do it at the moment though, but still. Sure Ringo may be the "closest to Ikki" but that alone shouldn't be enough to make her a good tuner. Oh well, Kururu seems to think she'll be able to do it, but... yeah.



Oh well. Still happy with the chapter, though this crap of "respect" isn't really getting to me. But okay.

I think maybe OG just let ikki have some time with ringo because I just had a feeling that something bad will happen to ringo such as die in the battle or whatsoever. And I'm still thinking about ringo and simca conversation (in what chapter I can't remember) they said that if they meet again, there will be a serious fight between them. And I hate the fact that ringo tune ikki. I just wished it would be simca or kururu      is the one who got to tune ikki.

Noooo, Kururu, fight for Ikki T___T

Noo noo... it was wind regalia that got destroyed and there never has been a storm regalia that is why they have to do it from scratch. I think it would be awesome for one of those "special" kids to become an actual tuner would be interesting and Ringo would fit in perfect... Although i prefer Kururu too over her... but oh well she's a machine and communicates in a bizarre way with them... so gl :D Waiting for next chapter!!!!!

And it's obvious that Ringo is in LOVE with Ikki. Ever since at the start of the manga. Although she don't want to show it to him.

How dare Ringo step back in the arena! I'm hoping that respect line is not drawing away from a romantic relationship.

I mean I thought it was pretty obvious Ringo loved Ikki she just finally said it. I still dont get what happpened to Kururu.



I still perfer her or Simca over Ringo. I like her as a character but this was a dumb way to bring her back into the relationship run with Ikki. Bad setup if I do say so myself.



How will Ringo even be able to be a tuner? This all happened cause the original Storm Regalia was damaged beyond repair like 20 chapters ago.

Seems a little superfluous just to suddenly say that Ringo can become a tuner. Then again it's not as if Oh! Great was ever any good at writing storylines.

I don't know what's the mangaka trying, saying us how awesome Simca and Kururu are and choosing Ringo out of fucking nowhere with a contrived "plot twist" which is nothing more than a bad written excuse.



It's like he just was in the mood for some trolling. And it's worse because he's not: Ringo is actually really popular out there in Japan (as opposed to always second or third girl over here)



Well, it's not like the best girl(s) losing at the end is anything new in manga...
