after this chapter, I'm even more convinced that those who follow the Flame Road turn gay. I mean, Emily has been head-over-heels for Kazu ever since Koga was started (Emily offered her virginity to Kazu after he won his Dash match against the Sabel Tigers). and that outfit she's wearing is like begging Kazu to have his way with her. just my 2 cents.

This chapter really put things in perspective for me. Even after we've come this far, when exactly did Ikki get all these huge expectations from everyone? I still remember the first few chapters when he simply wanted to ride ATs because it was fun and he wanted to be in the sky. Hell, him getting dragged into all of this with Sleeping Forest, Genesis, etc., is really quite crazy.
Anyway, funny twist at the end. I wonder how the situation will be rectified
wasn't it when Ikki was able to see the Infinity Atmosphere during his match with Inuyama? that's one of the requirements to obtaining the title of King. there's also Ikki's ability, Trick Pass (surveying the area and learning the most efficient way to take advantage of the terrain), which IIRC, no other rider other than Ikki has used. I wouldn't be surprised if Ikki turns out to be a "perfect" Gravity Child and that it was his destiny to obtain the Sky Regalia after all.
Air Gear and Tenjou Tenge share many parallels character-wise and story wise. the lead of TenTen, Souichiro Nagi, is the most powerful character in the series, he was the character destined to end the Hundred Year war. deriving from that, Ikki being a Gravity Child seems highly plausible.
