Shugo Chara! Chapter 47 Discussion

So, as we've figured out, "Tsukasa" is most likely an older Tadase, and I don't know about you but my first hint of this was when he called her "Amu-chan", because thinking back I didn't think Tsukasa ever called her that.



What's kind of sad is that going with this hypothesis, Tadase spent quite a bit of his life brooding over this not-to-be relationship and only realizes it 'now'... which is so depressing to me.



Also, how will Amu get the last spark since the previous ones were gotten when remembering her disappeared shugo chara but Dia is still with her...



Also interesting that Ikuto has changed enough that Yoru 'disappeared' and went to the Egg's Cradle. But he does have that other shugo chara which has not been named/seen but only mentioned earlier - http://www.onemanga.com/Shugo_Chara/39/06/ . Maybe that might come into play?



and I want to see Ikuto...!

This one was actually quite shorter than the previous chapters. I like that we now have information about the origins of the Humpty Key. It's coming to a close, isn't it? I don't think the story's prepared to just end unless the next chapter will be really long. Well, Ikuto's coming back, so we'll see what happens next.

So obviously, that person is not Tsukasa, but an older Tadase. Or maybe even, Tsukasa IS Tadase from the future. But anyway, the story of the Dumpty Key was interesting. I wonder where they got the Humpty Lock from though? Also from what Tadase is saying I'm guessing he is realizing Amu should be with Ikuto. Hehe. <3



The end of the chap said the climax is next week... is it the end already?! :O How can that be? She still needs to find her Shugo Chara... and what about all the other guardians? And Kairi? And everything? It can't be the end! :O

Ok, so since no one has started a discussion on this chapter yet, I guess I will.

Nothing much happened plot-wise in this chapter. However, they did drop a ton of hints that make it rather obvious that the person who is with Amu is most definitely NOT the person she thinks he is. xD

As for the memory they saw.... I think it is the most important part. I don't think I'm reading too much into it when I say that the Tadase/Amu/Ikuto love triangle is apparently going to end up being based off the adult's love triangle from the past: Tadase's dad, Souko, and Aruto. Some of you will probably take this and run with it saying that it means Amu is going to end up with Ikuto, but I actually think that it will be, whichever one of the two guys gives the key to the other (symbolizing I think letting him have Amu), will end up being with Amu. It might still be Amuto, but I think my theory will still apply to that, more so than just saying "Oh Souko ended up with Aruto, Ikuto's dad, and so Amu will end up with him too."

But yea, that's just my thought.

I think, judging by older!Tadase's expressions and dialogue in this chapter, he doesn't end up with Amu. We also have to remember that back in the 'real world' he was alone, watching over the children. If he really is Tadase as an adult, why wasn't Amu with him? Or if they were married, why did he spend all his time in the past, watching over the younger Amu?  I'm more certain than ever now that it's going to be an Amuto ending.



I was a little disappointed with this chapter because it was so short, and not much happened. We're reaching the climax of the manga so I was expecting a little more. But, it wasn't bad. I'm looking forward to Ikuto and Amu meeting again! How long has it been? I'm a little confused about the time line. It's been just over two years since they first met, right? And, how long since Ikuto left?

My guess is that Tsukasa is Tadase from the future and he know what is really Amu's true self and knows he won't end up with her?



anyways, this chapter "was" the climax and the resolution, which SHOULD be 50+ or i will be mad, is the next one.

Very short chapter taking in mind that the manga will finish next year.

GREAT giveaway that "Tsukasa" is Tadase with all the remembering that star road trascends time and him saying that Ikuto going on a trip happened too long ago, although probably 99% of the people reading this manga thought that already. Little story of the Dumpty Key, yet there's no explanation on how did it appear and when & how came into scene the Humpty Lock, not to mention the whole Embryo plot.

Was I the only one to notice Yoru talking to future Tadase "You're not the mister who gives me sardines"? Page 6 exactly. Does it mean Tsukasa and Tadase are actually different people? I don't really believe it, but I hope so, because I hate young Tadase and I love Tsukasa. He reminds me of Fai from Tsubasa Chronicles :3 If they were the same person I'd have to like Tadase or dislike Tsukasa. Or something. Well, at least every star is saying that there's not going to be TadasexAmu ending x>



So good to see Ikuto again. Ah, I want to learn to play the violin~...

I read the manga (from onemanga.com) and well like Chapters 46, 47, 48, 49 WERE REALLY CONFUSING, I dont understand anything that happened.



I know it was all flying through the stars and stuff but I dont get it? I mean did she end up loving or liking someone? I have a feeling that Tsusaka was actually Tadase in the future? but does that mean that Amu and tadase are together in the future? and what happened to Ran, miki, Suu, and Dia? I know they are still there, but I didn't understand?



Did Amu finally "Grow up"? Just like how Ikuto said?



It made me cry when Ikuto lost Yoru I know Yoru is in his heart :( but still....it's sad, he is lonely, and his shugo chara isnt psychically there anymore, but in his heart.



If anyone could reply or help me out that would be great, cuz I hate ending a good manga with SO MANY doubts...
