Hatori still loves her, yet he still 'loves' Akito more.. Yuki must be a special one, because it looks like he can 'reject' Akito.. Also Shigure, looks like he 'can do something' ...
I'm reading this side by side with a rewatch of the anime remake. I'm starting to notice the differences and it's becoming fun to compare & contrast the two.
As for the chapter, I always get weepy eyed with the "Spring comes" message. The way seasons can become metaphors for optimism and hope stirs up such a great sense of awe.
This was too damn sad. Hatori's backstory evokes a feeling of sadness and emptiness. Kana truly loved him, it sucks that her memory had to be erased in order for her to be happy. They just can't be together and he's the only one who remembers their shared past. Well, I hope he will be able to feel happiness once again soon.
Hatori... I wouldn't be able to do what he did..But Since I can't really do that.. I won't really know xD His story really show's a good portion of where his personality comes from..
