Like the OP this time I'm reading the manga physically with a better translation so I'm very much looking forward to this. Great stuff, I've always loved the brief little moments with Tohru's mother and that's still the same. Simple but really powerful stuff to me, particularly the idea of never getting a chance to say goodbye to her. Indeed Tohru is very easy to relate to whether the reader is male or female, the stuff about losing a family member and being forced to work a job. I think anyone can get that, really. Though I hope most of us haven't been forced to live in tents.
