Why does she take mom's strawberry, but not Yotsuba's?

Taking someone's strawberry is unacceptable, especially if it's Yotsuba's. That isn't right at all.  

The end has a little surprise me, I thought Yotsuba burst into tears, but it's the mother to despair for the strawberry stolen it from Asagi.
