BLAME! Chapter 9 Discussion

That girl has no idea what waits for her lol. Killy's allies are not the ones to survive for long. Hopefully she'll live through the next chapter at least.

its the same girl from earlier chapters to whom he delivered that kid? If so, i guess we found out what happened to him

Love the panels and stuff in this chapter, place is huge   looks so cool

New girl is interesting but its hard to get invested when every character introduced has died within a chapter

That woman with the big sword looked pretty badass! I know “woman with big sword” sounds stupid, but I honestly can’t describe those creatures in a better way!

Cibo is an interesting addition, hopefully she gives some information about this world and doesn’t die soon.

The world is called the megastructure and you can't even imagine how gigantic that thing is. No one has ever seen the outside area, maybe that's why Cibo wants to break through it. It kinda reminds me of Matrix, anyone else feeling the same?

We also found out that they synthesized net genes and actually managed to access the net but a counter program stopped them and even destroyed their equipment, question is who created the net and what's behind it.



Killy can control the power of its gun, that thing is awesome.

Great chapter. Killy's character design looks a bit better now. Nihei has gotten accustomed to drawing him.



Killy meets the chief scientist, who we later find out is named Cibo.

Seems like Killy doesn't even know much about his own gun aside from how to use it. Or was he lying? Probably not since he didn't say much. So I wonder where/how he got the gun and who made it if even the bio-electric scientists couldn't reverse engineer the weapon.



Cibo volunteers to help Killy and gets him info. I thought Killy was just gonna leave him there after the safeguard attacks Cibo, but luckily for Cibo, he finds a new body and comes to save the day after Killy gets an arm cut off. Afterward, Cibo helps Killy get his arm reattached and decides to join him on his quest. Seems like a good ally to have. Its ridiculous how massive the megastructure is for being man made (machine made realistically).

I like how Killy is basically "taking out the trash" as he ventures on his way up.

                        One of the best chapters in this manga so far, Killy seems to just shot anything.. his gun is powerful.

I wonder if he's ever gonna find this net genes

Finally new characters that feel like they won't die out in the next panle and a bit of dialogues which  is a plus.

Well, Cibo capped for sure, but at least they made a team now.



Stuff is getting interesting and I can only imagine more lore will come to light in the following chapters.
