Rookies Chapter 1 Discussion

                        I'm not sure I could put my faith in him with the way he's been acting lol



Enjoying it so far, but I'm hoping that it won't all be about heart and guts and willpower, I prefer sports series that acknowledge the importance of strategy and planning.

First large chapter, but nice introduction in the events.

Now, we have to wait what way will take this strange teacher :)

Great start. What really captivated me the most is how expressive the art is. When Kobayashi teared up, oh man, that was tough.



Kawatou seems like a cool and passionate guy, but he hit a student at his former school. And the principal seems to know about that. He might want to fight fire with fire, but he gives off a shady vibe. Need more context to be sure what's going on.



Well, if this is going to be a delinquent sports anime with a Onizuka-esque teacher then I'm sure that I will enjoy this to say the least.

Like the set-up so far, finally talked myself into reading this . . . I just kind of, I dunno, have my fears about this series. But since they are currently unfounded I'll just shut up and pray for the best.
