----------------------------------------

i was kinda irked by the ending, i had hoped that she would become a wolf and they would run off and live in the forest together ........

i have to admit i was hoping for that too... but at least this way we see that she will eventually become human again and they'll be together again. i feel like if she became a wolf it would have been too easy. this way there's a little more work involved i guess.

I'm obviously operating under a different method of commenting than everyone else T.T, since I included the extras in my comments (since all of the extra chapters really are just other chapters, most of the chapters don't have anything to do with the plot anyways)... so... Gonna comment on the chapter I read... sorry...

Anyways it was the chapter where they met Orihime and Hikoboshi... I will say it was the first time I have ever seen a manga actually give them a physical form however... The topic has been done to death in romance manga. Anyways nice chapter... and again sorry for commenting on it, but when I saw MAL list 50 chapters I thought people would comment on the last chapter at 50... again sorry.

I was kind of expecting some dues ex machina or something to turn her into a wolf or him into a human or make her immortal or whatever. However, one of the things that I began to really enjoy about this series was the insistence that they would love each other while she was a human and he was a wolf, while she would die and he would live on. There were no sudden miracles but one that was plausible given the other events in the series (the cherry tree incidents, his and his son's own evolution from ordinary wolves to those that can call upon the power of the moon, etc). Allowing her to become absorbed into the cherry tree and gradually accumulate the power of the moon as he did was a nice resolution to their "forbidden love."
