Kidou Senshi Gundam: The Origin Chapter 93 Discussion

                        The Zabi patriarch is now dead under Gihren's hand before he could redeem himself. One stone, two birds for him since he killed Revil and a good part of the flotilla at the same time. I am now waiting for Kycilia's next move, surely will she use their father's murder to get rid of her dear brother. Somehow, this plan needs Char to shine under the great commander's eye. She is really something, on par with her last surviving sibling (I despise both of them) whose speech impressed me again, a far better orator than Casval.



Well, nothing more really striking out in this chapter. Except... that kiss?! Has Char really been moving forward enough to be able to "love" someone? I know how Lalah sees him as her savior and the Newtype "special bond" she feels that she has with him. But I can't reject my suspicions about his intentions: he has always wronged/ used / manipulated any person he could in order to serve his greater desires (soldiers sended to death without an afterthought for them, friends sacrificed on the shrine of the vengeance...). After that, this kiss seems to be a way to reassure his hold on his younger sidekick before giving her some task she could hesitate to realize.
