                        ----------------------------------------

Gihren's calm attitude is bothering... either he is overconfident or has still some secret cards to pull out. The call between him and his brother made me like Dozle a bit more: he's not cunning nor really evil but straightforward, he just does his military job (at least to me). Despite the lack of apparent decisions from Degwin, Gihren indicates that his actions were hindered by him, interesting since I was wondering why this man who never fully stated his approval or disapproval of his son's ways had never make a move about it. (I know he clearly commanded  the Deikum's assassination after using his thesis for propaganda but strangely I can't paint him all black.)

Amuro and Fraw's short interaction was great too, subtle enough. She's happy to see him growing up for his own sake despite how it further the gap between them. I hope Amuro will still retain some friendships/nice relationships even after his transformation into a more mature fully-fledged soldier (and not become a solitary war machine). Is the "thing that happened" in Side-6 his meeting with Char? (the road accident) I can't imagine a big impact seeing how similar it was to Ral's moment on Earth.

Otherwise, the Gundam "upgrade" is great, it should be a radical change (since it will then probably fit Amuro's reaction time) without being a lame excuse to release a new toy design (like those regrettably "classic" middle-series new design models in later entries of the franchise).

Briefly: I love this chapter's insights.
