Nice scenes between Bright and Mirai, is all this hinting toward a future more intimate relationship? (the way Mirai concludes their conversation plus the obvious embarrassment of Bright about her private life in the previous chapter)





Amuro's dad really gave up his soul to his creation, the poor kid is like an orphan now. Her mother practically rejected what the war made of him and his father seems a collateral victim of the conflict. I hope it won't break his resolution.

Despite that, the chapter ends on a brighter note with a beautiful introduction to a new seemingly important (she's on the cover) character. This mysterious girl has an instant effect on Amuro, but at this point I am not really surprised: the adolescent must have spend too much time on engineering/whatever locked in his room because he has this stupid behavior around women. At least she provides him (and us) some peaceful minutes after we painfully watched how down went Tem Ray. Still, I fear what will come next, based on the cover and Char's past: will she confront Amuro on the battlefield, and will he (again) kill a character who catched my attention? ...
