Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Chapter 45 Discussion

Amazing chapter. I wonder whether Degwin was aware of the possible military uses of Mobile Workers or if it was between Gihren and Dozle only.

Char was as awesome as ever, he really knows how to take the initiative and talk Garma into action! This chapter also had literally the gayest panel in the entire manga with Char helping Garma to dress up haha. Also nice to see how he got his mask.

                        I really appreciate how this manga has been showing the road to war, and how the Zabi family wasn't unified in their plans to consolidate power. I really enjoyed how against war the patriarch of the Zabi was, and for good reason. One colony is way too small to force a victory against an entire planet. The sheer size of the Federations population and production capabilities would be able to overcome whatever quality of troops Zeon could posses. It is no wonder that Zeon crashed colonies into Earth in an attempt to balance the playing field but even that ultimately failed to stop the Federations industrial might.
