lame ending, downgrading from 8/10 to 6/10 cuz the whole premise AND the end is just a romeo and juliet ripoff.

The double suicide was a good way to end the story. Over all, it was a pretty enjoyable manga. 8/10

Romeo and Juliet ninja style. For once, I thought the adaptation to anime gave more depth to the story and characters though.

A decent conclusion for a series that was honestly carried by its art. The character work was weak and until the last two or three deaths I honestly didn't feel much when a character died. The fights were cool but without any emotional weight their endings felt unimpactful. This final fight had a lot of buildup and I feel it was rushed but the final bitter sweet death was tragic enough to elicit some feelings finally here at the end.

That's such a touching story but the anime made more emotional impact on me than the manga. I watched it 3 times already, still it never fails to make me cry, guess I should thank to the background soundtracks.

Wow. This manga has been on my shelf since the first day I arrived to Japan but it was just not that I managed to finished. And what a damn ride huh! All good things come in small packages and this makes justice of that.

Both rival clans are incredibly violent, each side has its interesting members, battles were really bloody with a very well-crafter drawing. Plot unfolds perfectly, being able to keep a very clean and entertaining storyline, without giving you time to get bored of it. Just like the anime. Additionally, the end is absolutely beautiful and dramatic. In my opinion, no other ninja manga has beaten this one yet on its field. 8/10

I quite liked this short series. I felt the ending was especially fitting for this kind of story, a more happy ending would have also been nice but somewhat unrealistic given the situation they were in. I'm now thirstin for some similar series to this :')

fitting ending for this series. in the end, most of them died before even realising the real reason why the treaty was broken. a lot of the deaths felt too quick. there wasn't a chance to get to know the characters and build an attachment towards them. however, in the end the flaws did not overweigh the epicness that i felt when reading this series

                        Awww, i cried. ;___;

I wouldn't be able to kill soomeone I love, so I would do that too. But it was sweet how Gennosuke wrote that Oboro had won, and went into the river with her.

Stupid people, making them fight. ;_____;

I liked this series a lot. They didn't drag anything out really, with the exception of Tenzens whole being lol. But overall pretty good. Sad losses of life and love. Yes, it's almost a ninja Romeo x Juliet, but it was well executed within the historical framework. I would definitely recommend and will revisit in the future.
