Lmao. You know your life sucks when you need to go to Cherry for help. But to Cherry's credit, his Oni-suppressing ribbon did work. Ataru just utilized it poorly.




It's also sad we don't see this ribbon again AFAIK. It would've been very useful when Ataru and Lum tried to sleep together.

Also, there are a lot of moments where male characters just try to SA someone, usually Ataru. It's wild that the author of this manga is a woman.



Ig this wasn't considered offensive back then. Now this joke would be extremely outdated. Which is why the Remake changed it and made it seem more harmless.




I'd hardly call that rabbit a foreshadowing. I doubt Rumiko even thought of Inaba at that point since Shinobu was still the main heroine until Mendo showed up. She only introduced Inaba very late into the series to give Shinobu happiness. This also made her feel the series was finally complete.

Lum without electric shocks is actually ok, too bad Ataru's relationship with Shinobu deteriorated for the 1000th time. Funny hint, Shinobu had a small rabbit dawn on her bag, that's cool forshadowing.

This was a fun one. Don't know why but Lum hiding right underneith where Ataru was sitting as he said he couldn't get away from her cracked me up in particular. Turns out she's still plenty dangerous without her powers. Yeah the male characters can be....aggressive.
