Ah, yes. The famous Miss Tomobiki arc.



The fact that the Principal is in on this whole thing just makes it a lot better.




The original anime adaptation of this arc was a disaster. It only adapted the first chapter with lots of changes and ended it with an original ending without adapting the rest. Many people disliked it, including Rumiko Takahashi, who thought it was offensive due to one of its original jokes.



40 years later, the Remake adapted this arc faithfully as the Season 1 finale.
