Urusei Yatsura Chapter 25 Discussion

Lum dressing up in something other than her usual bikini is always a treat. Lum in a human getup looks better than 99% of actual human girls despite being an alien. Lmfao.



Her expression when holding in her horns was gold. Also, Lum with huge horns can rarely be seen in the anime. Usually for only a couple of frames in a very few episodes. So it's easily missable. But not so much in the manga...



This chapter was never adapted in the OG anime. But interestingly, the first few pages were in episode 3 of the Remake.



I do get why this was never adapted in the OG though... It was too similar to the very next chapter. After adapting chapter 26, it wouldn't make much sense to adapt this chapter without heavily modifying it.


And the story of the episode wouldn't make sense after Lum officially transfers to Tomobiki High School later on.

But damn, I would've loved seeing this getup of Lum animated...

in Ataru's defense, Lum was looking awfully good incognito!
