The two page panel of Chrno and Aion's fight is a perfect example of the overly cluttered and poor action in this manga. There is no line for your eyes to follow. There is nothing in focus. And it looks hideous leaving no impact. At least the still of Aion pouncing above Chrno with his sword was powerful. The page of Chrno trying to grab Pandaemonium like he did as it passed through him was another favorite of mine in this entire series.
The Apostles acting like freaky little android kids was odd. I guess they were forced to be test tube babies so maybe it makes sense. Probably not.
Aion stating he views human life as much less valuable than demon because of their temporary nature was interesting. It's definitely an argument, what is the point of life if it's temporary and going to end? I can see why he would be willing to treat humans as a means to an end, like (most of us) think of insects, in that line of thinking.
