Chrno Crusade Chapter 44 Discussion

                        This is getting intense.  I didn't expect this massive demon vs demon war coming into this.  The demons that led Magdalene to Eden were Duke's all swarming to attack the sinners, and Duke is quite the threat too.  Seriously, the villain of the manga is getting his face beaten in by Duke like its absolutely nothing for him, I imagine it has to be a part of the plan... right?  If all their plans were thrown out by Duke and his pursuers then I don't know where the story would go.  It seems Oratorio is the act of the apostles overflowing the astral line into pandemonium.



It feels a little goofy that the first tower they checked had a door slowly closing and happened to be where the apostles were, and the door isn't quite justified unless it was because Joshua just got there late, but we can probably chop Chrno's intuition about it up to him living here in the past.
