I questioned the choice to give them a teleporter right to Eden but I had forgotten the fact that Aion had invited them to see the end of pandemonium.  it's expected that he may even leave breadcrumbs for them to follow like this.  The reveal of it was rushed with Remington leaving them right beside the teleporter like he did, and the recorded jewel, but the fact it happened all together isn't a big problem.

That being said I think its indicative of one of the biggest flaws of this manga in my mind.  That flaw being it's lack of focus.  It was one of the early things I pointed out assuming it would be changed, but the light story focus from the start where Rosette fought random demons and did missions didn't really change.  There was a larger find Joshua goal but they didn't get great footing on that until Aion decided to mess everything up.  Some foreshadowing like the demon smuggling and Rizel puppeting all the innocents were good, but the major story is all over the place.  We hardly get to see Aion's actual plan or moves and Rosette and her crew could be described as if they're walking in a vague direction without much other guidance.  Most of the story progressing including the creation of a gun as powerful as the one Remington gave Rosette has been in the background.  As if the plot is the carpet we're standing on being pulled from under us.  I describe it worse than it is because I'm struggling with it, it makes sense and is never bad but it's unsatisfying and feels rushed.  I think that's because the pacing is so loose and not focused.  That paired with the consistently overly crowded pages of words and images making it hard to keep up leaves the plot in Chrno Crusade lackluster.

To move onto to this specific chapter, I had not agreed with the decision to leave Genai on guard, but then I realized that Viede was hurt, Rizel was dead, Joshua needs a guy to guide him, Aion is busy doing the plans, and Shader is a nice cat leaving him as the best person to be the lookout due to unfortunate circumstances.  Seeing his unhealed eyes from pandemonium's attacks was gross.

Rosette and Joshua are both striving to reach each other still and Joshua is even trying his hardest to remember her face in his dream of their promise.  I'm fascinated by where his character is going to go.
