Pokémon Special Chapter 460 Discussion

This arc was a mess. The creators were trying too put too much action into too few chapters. The only meaningful thing that happened was that Togepi evolved. None of the characters seemed to grow or learn much of anything. We don't even get to see them interact because they're almost always apart. This was easily the weakest arc so far.

It was nice to see how it tied up with Diamond and Pearl arc.

End of HeartGold/SoulSilver arc.



As usual, Gold is interesting. And apparently, this happens before DP. That's cool. The climax is good as always. 9/10

so i'm supposed to believe that geovani healed in about 5 seconds? and what with reviving the team rocket again, and again, and , again?



that twist at the end though, that all this arc is actually before the DPePl arc, loved that.

in general, as much as i loved the HGSS arc, it didnt lasted long enough so i could have good memories from it, and while the climax was epic, it was more plot wise epic rather than action one.

adding the fact that, while the plot was interesting, it didn't felt as deep as usual main arc was, and if it wasn't for the returning characters, i don't think i would love this arc as much. and it's also unfortunate that the arc is ending abruptly, where i wanted more interaction between the characters. (gold didn't finished telling crystal how she looks)



so as much as i loved the HGSS arc, i believe it's more on pair with the yellow arc, which while being epic, wasn't the best.
