Good two parter. Freddie continues to be a mystery, this time he came along to save Maeda! When did he even get into the taxi?! Takenouchi felt the need to prove his badassery by coming along because apparently if he gets motion sick his reputation is ruined, making Kamiyama his most fearsome enemy. Kamiyama felt they had to rescue Maeda even if it meant he died alongside Takenouchi, who doesn't even know who Maeda is. And they took so long the bass guys went home and they probably forgot about Maeda.
I think the line that got to me the hardest was when Hayashida mentioned he won all that money and proceeded to say, "Yeah, heck we could ride all day if we want!".
