Genshiken Chapter 93 Discussion

The story started good but the author decides to go back to Hato...sigh. His BL feelings for Madarame is getting tedious. Keiko X Madarame is much more interesting.

Best eyes in Genshiken came back (Hato's new sister) ;D



For me Madarame still need to end up with Saki or Sue.

Ah, so Yoshitake and I actually have a similar opinion. I like her even more now. All the jabs she does at Yajima concerning Hato are pretty fun, too. It's nice to see the relations between the freshmen deepening a bit (and it'll probably go further with that whole Yajima x Hato foreshadowing).



Anyway, I still think Angela would fit more, but there's that whole long-distance stuff (though apparently, plane tickets don't seem that expensive in the Genshiken world for Angela to make 2-days trip every 6 months for the hell of it). Keiko is good, yeah. Less drama than Hato, less of a joke character than Sue (it'd be a really weird character development to see her in a couple with Madarame; not necessarily uninteresting, though).

It's not like a complete strangers have fallen for him, though. And as he said, he's too indecisive, so even if he waits to actually "fall for someone", it would probably be Saki all over again.

It was good to see Kugayama & Tanaka chime in on the situation at the beginning of the chapter (and for big ol' Kugi to actually say the phrase '3D Pig is Disgusting' made me lose my shit!) but overall, chapter was okay since Madarame's kinda taking it in over the fact he's now so popular with the ladies (and Hato) but he doesn't seem sure if he even has feelings for any of them (which I hope he doesn't choose any of them just for the sake of choosing to 'go with it' as I'm sure people have been known to do that with relationships cuz they're desperate, lonely and/or inexperienced with handling their own indecisiveness, cuz lets face it, its obvious that he isn't falling for anyone!)

Hmm, Yoshitake may be right with Keiko being the only person he can talk about freely. Angela would have to move to Japan and is maybe way too dominant for him whereas Sue is so shy we would have another romance arc like we had with Sasahara and Ogiue before (though Madarame seems to like her the most, mainly because of his love for lolis). Hato is out of the way, he really needs to get his infatuation away. Not to mention Yajima is perfect girl for him he just needs to find out.

Ahhh so much drama, honestly I don't know who I want mada to end up with. It just keeps on getting more and more interesting!
