Genshiken Chapter 57 Discussion

                        Well, wasn't that a great chapter?



It's nice to see Sue get a more prominent role, and it was hilarious to see Madarame again (simply for the sake of convenience). The new characters fit their roles, and it was amusing to see that the majority of the members now are female (probably due to the existing female members), and one of them is a... cross dresser.



I wonder when we'll get to see Sasahara next? This is a continuation focusing on Oguie, again...

Genshiken i miss you so much!!!!!



ps:ehi any comment on Sue's Shinobu cosplay?

OMG Sure cosplaying as Shinobu hahahaha that was funny reference she totally looks like her! Anyone know what Limited-time revival serialization means?

I hope that time isn't too limited. I can never get enough of Genshiken. However, needs moar Saki!

I'm kinda torn. On the one hand, Genshiken is one of my favourite manga, so I'm quite happy to see more of it. On the other hand, the mix of the new and old characters really feels weird, for a reason. That's kinda what I thought when the new characters were introduced in Genshiken though, so these'll probably grow on me.



Don't want to sound sexist though, but there is really A LOT of girls there. The only males are a dumbass and a crossdresser. I don't think getting males in a club has ever been a concern for any anime club ha ha.



(also kinda liked the reference to Panty and Stocking, some quite cool Zeitgeist here).

Hato-kun is cute as himself, too, and he insists on cross dressing and not letting other members to see his male side.



Anyway, I'm happy that one of my fav. manga is back and finally found the place to read it.

hope this "limited time" is going to last. i really like Genshiken.
