Pokémon Special Chapter 1 Discussion

Read chapters 1 and 2 at a store today, looks promising. I'm starting getting back into Pokémon again and decided to read this too.



I really like that Red already has some (but not perfect) knowledge of Pokémon before even getting a starter, it's really relatable since we who play new games often find ourselves in that situation.

Ahh, Pokémon. It has been almost 20 years since I first fell in love with this franchise. But can I really call myself a Pokémon enthusiast without ever having read the manga? I own all volumes published in italian language, so it’s gonna be a long journey!

And the first chapter features one of my favorite Pokémon of the first generation: Mew!

Well Red sure was confident but that confidence came to bite him back.

Great introdutory chapther. not much more to say, but having poliwhirl as a strater is a very welcome decsision.

Damn... has been so many years since i know pokemon and still good to see more about it! Nice chapter. I think i´ll enjoy it a lot :D

                        I heard good things about this series and I’ve been a huge pokemon fan for years and this first chapter is a good start.

as a pokemon fan, i had to continue this manga.



love the red though to be weak, have much more knowledge than ash in the anime.
