The design of the guy he knew looked like the creep who did hypnosis lol I have reach a point when I don't really care what happens to any character xD

I thought that the man showing up was going to be an antagonist too, so we were both wrong.      I think he is trying to become more responsible and train harder etc,  I think he's preparing himself for one way or the other,  cause he really loves her and I don't think he wants to regret.

Probably his new resolve is just to move on with his life and not cause Sumire anymore problems... or get enough money to feel like he can tell her how he feels, in other words elevate his status to man instead of pet. I really thought the bearded dude was gonna be an antagonist that caused him grief in the past, looks like I was wrong there.
