...I'm rooting for Honoka. I'd been leaning that way for a few chapters. Even though I know it's hopeless with the main characters and all, I still wish she'd gotten his attention.

Honoka is cute but I doubt she will never have a chance.

I usually cheer for the "childhood friend" type in these kind of manga and so far Honoka fits that role. Of course, I think I have never read a manga that ends with that character winning (Love Hina may be an exception). :-\
